About the Artist

Horses and art have always been driving forces in Ginny's life. As a child, Ginny rode in Pony Club and studied oil painting with Sydney Willis at the Sharon Arts Center in NH. She went on to major Studio Art at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. and Art Education at Boston University.

While at Emmanual she met and started working with her professor, Mary Reardon (a muralist who had studied at Yale and worked with David Siqueiros in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico). Ginny assisted Mary Reardon on mosaic murals for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC and the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri. During this time Mary introduced Ginny to her nephew, David, and they were married in 1972.

In the late 1970's, Ginny became involved in the world of publishing and for the next 30 years worked in art, production and printing for publishers including McGraw-Hill and Time Life Books. In 2009 Ginny and David moved their horses and hounds to Culpeper, VA where Ginny can devote more time to painting and fox hunting.
