“I consider drawing the basis of all artwork, and it is my most sustaining interest in art. Life drawing is essential to maintain a close bond between artist and subject. Building on this foundation I have happily explored painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics using a wide variety of media and techniques. I am always curious about new methods and materials.
Horses have inspired my life and artwork since I could first hold a crayon. Though my riding these days is as a "happy hacker" on my lovely chestnut mare, I stay closely connected to a world of sport and equine adventure by reaching into a box of art supplies.”
